SAHIB (Moldovan)

I was attracted to SAHIB because it is visually attractive and I found it genetically interesting. I felt that a sturdy plant with lavender flowers out of Betty Warren Woods would add good qualities to my own lavender seedlings. As it turned out, it proved to also be a good parent when taken to other superb lavender cultivars. I bred heavily with the seedlings out of Sahib and look forward to seeing the results of them crossed to Amanda's Intrigue, Ed Brown kids, (Love In Vain X Bridgeton Brocade), Wild Angel kids, and (Flying Carpet X Twilight In Tangiers) kids.

SAHIB X DRUID'S CHANT

I bloomed a large group of seedlings from this cross. Colors ranged from lavender and purple to cream - not unexpected considering what has already come out of Druid's Chant. Some of the cream colored flowers have lavender halos. All are large flowers with good substance, clear colors, and most have multiple branching with bud counts in the 20s-30s. Several of these will be introduced.

SAHIB X SPIRITUAL CORRIDOR

Another good group of seedlings to come out of Sahib - one or two of these will be introduced in the future. All have large flowers; scapes are tall with superb branching and bud counts. The clear pink flower is my favorite.
